Formed from the remnants of medical care, Death / Labor / Lust transforms discarded oxygen cords into a glowing tangle of survival and desire. The work evokes the look of neon, yet its material truth, the tubing once sustaining life, resists the polish of fluorescents. Nails pierce through the looping lines, disrupting any sense of perfection, holding space for the brutal tenderness of labor, love, and loss. A meditation on what care costs the body, and what remains luminous within it.
