A community weaving based on bringing awareness to our plastic consumption. Questions centered around the importance of community and environment are answered and weaved into the large outdoor sculpture.
I gathered recycling facts and discussed them with the familys at OZ family day while weaving recycled plastic material. A majority of the material from Free Plastic was heading to the landfill before this project. Being able to change the direction of a small amount of waste can compound if we all make an effort.
